For Community

  • Trident, Summerville & Moncks Corner Medical Centers and Centre Pointe Emergency will be open to meet your healthcare needs throughout this storm. All of our services are available.
  • If you have a scheduled inpatient or outpatient surgery at Trident or Summerville Medical Centers, we will be ready and open for your procedure on Monday. Our Cath Lab however will be closed Monday. If you are scheduled for an outpatient Cath Lab procedure Monday, you will be contacted to reschedule to Tuesday.
  • Our Trident Health-affiliated physician practices will be closed during the peak of the storm on Monday, September 11 and Tuesday, September 12. We will plan to reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday, September 13.
  • Several state and local agencies offer excellent resources regarding the storm forecast, evacuation pre-planning, travel and shelters. Links are below.

For Staff & Physicians

  • Thank you for all you do for our community during moments like this.
  • Current forecasts show Hurricane Irma to be a very large storm system that will bring rain and wind to our area throughout Monday, September 11. Please follow the latest guidance from the South Carolina Department of Emergency Management at South Carolina Emergency Management Division site. We recommend this site as well for information on the current hurricane updates: National Weather Service hurricane safety.
  • Trident, Summerville & Moncks Corner Medical Centers and Centre Pointe Emergency will be open to meet your healthcare needs throughout this storm. All of our services will run as scheduled, including inpatient and outpatient surgery.
  • Our Trident Health-affiliated physician practices will be closed during the peak of the storm on Monday, September 11 and Tuesday, September 12. We will plan to reopen for normal business hours on Wednesday, September 13.
  • Monday, September 11 will be a regular staffing schedule. If you live on base and were impacted by the mandatory evacuation, please contact your director.
  • Generators, food, water and supplies have all been brought in to support the needs of our patients and caregivers during this period.
