Wound Care

The Advanced Wound Care Center provides patients with chronic wounds, faster and healthier healing options. Our team approach, involves a partnership with your physician and our health care team to develop an individualized treatment plan to help you return back to your daily life and activities. Our health care team includes:

  • Medical specialists 
  • Certified wound care nurses 
  • Highly trained hyperbaric technicians

What types of wounds does the Center treat?

Any wound that has not begun to heal in two weeks, or has not healed completely in six weeks, may benefit from our Advanced Wound Care Center. We treat wounds that result from a number of conditions, including:

  • Diabetic Wounds 
  • Pressure Ulcers 
  • Venous Stasis Ulcers 
  • Vascular Ulcers 
  • Non-Healing Surgical Wounds 
  • Complex Soft Tissue Wounds 
  • Traumatic Wounds 
  • Infected Wounds
  • Chronic Wounds

What is Hyperbaric Treatment?

The Wound Care Clinic provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This therapy delivers high concentrations of 100% oxygen into the bloodstream which assists in the healing process of wounds and is effective in fighting certain types of infections. It also helps to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels, which can improve circulation and wound healing.
