Dr. Collins became a radiation oncologist in 1995 and has cared for patients at Trident Cancer Center since 2000. His sub-specialty is treating prostate cancer, which often includes the use of low-dose radiation implants. Dr. Collins also serves as co-chairman of Trident Health's Cancer Conference, a weekly meeting of medical professionals to discuss ongoing cancer cases. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and performed his residency there, serving as chief resident in MUSC's Department of Radiation Oncology. He is board-certified in radiation oncology.
