My son, 16, and I came to your emergency room after he fell skateboarding. We suspected a sprained or broken ankle. The new format of the ER, with two separate areas for peds and adults is very nice. Our wait time was EXTREMELY minimal, in my opinion. The nurses and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Barouh was amazing. My first impression was, "He's too cool to be a doctor." His personality was outgoing and friendly, with a great sense of humor. However, this definitely didn't detract from his professional ability. He explained everything down to the last detail while we were there, from the reason for X-rays to the results to how to resume normal activity. Even on the way out, my son made the comment, "They're always so nice there."
