Current residents

Ny’Asia Cleckley, PharmD

Ny’Asia Cleckley, PharmD is one of our current PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residents. She completed her PharmD and BS in Public Health from the University of South Carolina. Her passion for pharmacy came from taking a pharmacy technician class in high school along with helping her grandmother, a breast cancer survivor, with her medications. She chose to pursue clinical pharmacy after completing her APPE rotations in internal medicine and critical care where she grew to love the instant gratification of seeing patients get better in a matter of hours to days after a medication change or initiation. Outside of pharmacy, Ny’Asia enjoys spending time with her family and friends along with trying new restaurants. She is excited to further her career in clinical pharmacy under the guidance of the amazing pharmacy department at Trident Medical Center.

Dana Olheiser PharmD

Dana Olheiser, PharmD is a current PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at Trident Medical Center. She earned a BS in Biochemistry from Utah State University and PharmD from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dana started her pharmacy career at Publix in 2018 as a pharmacy technician. In her fourth year of pharmacy school, she decided to pursue post-graduate training after an internal medicine rotation. Her current interests include internal medicine and emergency medicine. She is a Moncks Corner native and enjoys spending time on the water and playing 4-suit spider solitaire (expert level). She is excited to start her resident journey at Trident Medical Center.

Former residents

Rebekah Lewis PharmD

Rebekah Lewis, PharmD earned both a BS in Pharmaceutical Science and PharmD from the University of South Carolina. She decided to pursue pharmacy practice early on in pharmacy school after meeting with professors who also practiced as clinical pharmacists and who shared her passion for clinical pharmacy. Dr. Lewis completed the Trident Medical Center PGY1 program in 2024 and is currently completing her PGY2 in Critical Care at Cone Health in Greensboro, NC.

Jenny Zhou PharmD

Jenny Zhou, PharmD earned a BS in Biochemistry from Iowa State University and PharmD from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She enjoys working closely with other healthcare providers in clinical decision making and ensuring patient safety. Dr. Zhou completed the Trident Medical Center PGY1 program in 2024 and is currently completing her PGY2 in Psychiatry at SSM Health – DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Ashley Byrd PharmD BCPS

Ashley Byrd, PharmD, BCPS completed her PharmD at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2021. She then completed PGY1 pharmacy residency training in 2022 at Trident Medical Center. Along with completion of her residency Ashley also obtained her teaching certificate through the Academician Preparation Program through MUSC. She completed her BCPS in December of 2023. She is now a clinical pharmacist at Trident Health. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and being active outside.


Ashley Byrd, PharmD

Ashley Byrd had a previous 10 year career as a dental hygienist before being accepted into the pharmacy program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC where she graduated with her PharmD in May 2021. Her interests in pharmacy include internal medicine and critical care. She enjoys patient interaction and the challenge of the clinical setting. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two daughters.

Rebekah Briley Miller, PharmD

Rebekah Briley Miller is the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at Trident Medical Center. She earned a BS in Chemistry from Grove City College and her PharmD from the University of South Carolina.

Briley fell in love with pharmacy practice while working in the community setting but realized as a fourth-year student that clinical pharmacy was her true calling. Dr. Miller is excited and grateful to be pursuing this passion at Trident Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new recipes with her husband, Jeffrey, and spoiling their dog, Obi.
