Natcha Vicente-López

Natcha Vicente-López completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Rio Piedras Campus in 2014 and her PharmD at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus in 2018. Her interests in pharmacy include cardiology and administration. Additionally, she is in the process of obtaining her teaching certificate through MUSC. Natcha hopes to have the opportunity of completing her PGY2 next year and continue improving her clinical skills. She enjoys patient interaction, interprofessional collaborations, and participating in Trident's Heart Failure Clinic. In her free time she likes exploring Charleston, discovering new places to eat, making cupcakes, and reading.

Avery Elizabeth Shawen

Avery Elizabeth Shawen completed her Bachelor of Science at Clemson University in 2013 and her PharmD at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2017. She then completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency in July of 2018 as Trident's very first pharmacy resident. Along with completion of her residency Avery also obtained her teaching certificate through the Academician Preparation Program through MUSC. She now works as a pharmacist for Summerville Medical Center where she hopes to foster her interests of mentoring pharmacy students and promoting the profession of pharmacy. In her spare time she enjoys quilting, crafting, baking and rescuing animals with her fiancé.
