What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT)?
The Wound Care Clinic provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy. This therapy delivers high concentrations of 100% oxygen into the bloodstream which assists in the healing process of wounds and is effective in fighting certain types of infections. It also helps to stimulate the growth of new blood vessels, which can improve circulation and wound healing.
The Center is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm at both locations. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call (843) 832-5379 (Summerville Medical Center) or (843) 847-4379 (Trident Medical Center).
